The United States is concerned about China's growing stockpile of nuclear bombs

Members of the Pentagon and Congress have expressed concern about China's nuclear weapons. The United States on Monday expressed concern over reports that Beijing was building 110 new missile launch sites. The news agency Reuters reported on Wednesday. The American Federation of Scientists (AFS) said in a report on Monday that the missile launch sites (silos) were built near the Tami area in China's Xinjiang region.

This information was provided by AFS after analyzing the images taken from the satellite. A few weeks ago, it was reported that 120 missile launch sites were being built in the desert region of Yemen. The US Strategic Command posted a tweet on social media. There they attached a news to the New York Times about the AFS report. According to the tweet, the construction of a missile launch site was reported in China for the second time in two months.

It is threatening the world.Earlier this month, the US State Department called China's move to increase its stockpile of nuclear weapons "worrying." The U.S. State Department says Beijing is moving away from its long-standing policy of limiting nuclear weapons. They called on China to reduce the risk of provoking an arms race.Republican Mike Turner noted that China was stockpiling nuclear weapons "unprecedentedly." He said China has made it clear that weapons are being deployed to threaten the United States and its allies.

The United States is concerned about China's refusal to discuss arms control.According to a Pentagon report in 2020, China has about 200 nuclear bombs in stock. But Beijing has taken steps to modernize its military. For this reason these reserves may be doubled. The United States has about 3,600 atomic bombs, according to U.S. State Department analysts. Of these, 1,357 bombs have been deployed till March 1.
