Order to hand over Trump's tax documents to Congress

Former US President Donald Trump has taken a big hit on the tax issue this time. Because the country's judiciary has ordered the transfer of his tax documents to Congress. The order was given to the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) on Friday. Trump's tax documents will go to the House Wages and Minus Committee of the lower house of Congress as a result of the Reuters Justice Department's order.Trump was hit hard by taxes in 2020. That year, the New York Times published his tax information.

The newspaper reported that President Donald Trump has not paid any taxes for 10 out of 15 years. He has taken advantage of various loopholes in the tax law. In just two years, he has paid কর 650 in federal taxes. This is widely discussed. But before the news broke, the House Wages and Mines Committee wanted Trump's tax documents. This document was requested in 2019.

The Justice Department's Office of Legal Counsel has commented on whether Trump's documents will be released, CNN reported. According to the Legal Council, the chairman of the House Wages and Minus Committee has presented enough arguments to get the tax information of former President Donald Trump. According to federal law, this information must be handed over to the committee.

This legal council advises the general executive. However, during Trump's tenure, the House of Representatives did not receive this information for two years. As a result, the new decision is being seen as a major blow to Trump.

In 2019, Richard Neal, chairman of the House Wages and Mines Committee, sought the information. But the finance department was reluctant to give this information. As a result, Neil filed a case. And in that case, both the parties were supposed to present documents yesterday. On the same day, the judiciary ordered the release of Trump's documents.

Those who have been president of the United States since 1976 have published their tax returns. But Trump did not walk this path. Although it has no legal obligation. But Nancy Pelosi said state security is involved with the president's tax.
