Vaccine imports from India begin soon: President of Mexico

Mexico is going to import about 660,000 doses of vaccine from India. President Andres Manuel Lopez said the imports would begin in February. At the same time, the country will go into vaccine production locally, he said. This was reported by the news agency Reuters.

According to the report, Mexico and Argentina have signed an agreement with Estrogen. Under the agreement, the two countries will be able to produce the same estrogen vaccine as India. In a video message, President Lopez said, "We are going to produce an estrogen vaccine and at the same time start importing the vaccine from India." In addition, the Pfizer vaccine will arrive in Mexico by February 10. The country will initially buy 1.5 million doses of the vaccine from Pfizer.
