Boris cancels India tour due to Corona, sources claim

Corona's new strain has started violence in the country. In this situation, the British Prime Minister Boris Johnson had to cancel his visit to India. That is what the news agency AFP reports. Prime Minister Narendra Modi invited Boris as the chief guest at the Republic Day parade on January 26.

"Prime Minister Boris Johnson has spoken to Narendra Modi," a British government spokesman told the Associated Press. He regretted not being able to visit India later this month as planned.

Corona's new strain was discovered in Britain last September. According to experts, that strain is 80 percent more contagious than before. As a result, the situation in Britain has reached such a level in the last few months that the rate of corona infection in that country has increased more than ever before. Boris has announced a complete lockdown across the country. Which may continue till next February. The whole country is in crisis because of Corona. In such a situation, the question arose as to whether it would be possible for Boris to visit India.

According to the British High Commission in India, Boris will be the chief guest at the Republic Day parade in Delhi on January 26. He is also known to have accepted this 'generous' invitation from India. But the situation changed in the middle of the day.
