Twitter closed 60,000 accounts

There was a conspiracy to attack Capitol Hill through social media. Twitter has temporarily shut down more than 70,000 accounts for supporters of outgoing US President Donald Trump. Authorities announced this in a blog post on Monday (December 11th).

Reuters quoted the news agency as saying that Twitter accounts had also been used by those accounts to create the background for last week's capitalist attacks. Evidence has emerged that those Twitter accounts have considerable influence behind the violence in Washington DC. Even since last Friday, more than 60,000 Twitter accounts have been shut down in an attempt to spread violence across the United States.

Meanwhile, Nancy Pelosi, Speaker of the House of Representatives, is determined to bring impeachment charges against Donald Trump. He is pressuring U.S. Cabinet and outgoing Vice President Mike Pence to use constitutional force to oust Trump. According to Pelosi, it has become clear after the Capitol scandal that Trump is extremely dangerous to democracy. In the wake of that, Democrats in the House on Monday proposed dismissing Trump. They have accused him of inciting rebellion in the Capitol case. They claim that Trump addressed a meeting before the attack. His supporters became agitated and caused violence and chaos in the capital.

So Pelosi is determined to remove Trump. In a letter to colleagues, he wrote that the vote would first have to decide whether Pence would be asked to remove Trump by applying the 25th Amendment. Otherwise, after 24 hours, the US House will take legal action with Trump's impeachment. The proposal was tabled at 9.30 pm Indian time on Monday. But House Rules chairman Jim McGovern said he expects the vote to take place next Wednesday.

Meanwhile, demands for Trump's resignation are mounting. Two Republican senators have said Trump should resign now because of the capitalist uprising. They are Pat Tommy of Pennsylvania and Lisa Murkowski of Alaska. According to many U.S. lawmakers, the return to the Trump administration should also be banned. Corporate companies such as Blue Cross and Citigroup have cut off financial aid to Republicans over the Capitol scandal.

As Melania Trump wrote on the White House website again on Monday, she is disappointed and saddened by the Capitol scandal. ‘Rumors have been circulating around me about this tragedy. I'm being attacked. This is the time for healing our country and our citizens. It should not be used for personal gain.'
