Shah Mahmood Qureshi said China would gift Pakistan with a 500,000-dose corona vaccine from Sinofarm.
The Pakistani foreign minister said the vaccine would arrive in Pakistan by January 31.
In this context, Shah Mahmood Qureshi said that China has told Pakistan, ‘You send planes. Get vaccinated. '
The Pakistani foreign minister said China's announcement of the vaccine as a gift was good news for Pakistan. He hopes the vaccine will help Pakistanis protect themselves from corona.
Shah Mahmood Qureshi said he thanked China for agreeing to give the corona vaccine as a gift to Pakistan. At the same time, he told China that Pakistan would need more vaccines. China has assured Pakistan in this regard.
The Pakistani foreign minister said he had raised the issue with China over whether corona vaccine could be produced jointly with China.
Pakistan has already approved the emergency use of the synoform vaccine. The country's regulatory body approved the vaccine last Monday.
